LanguageCert Young Learners ESOL

LanguageCert Young Learners ESOL is a suite of two English language qualifications created specifically for younger candidates (7+ years old). These exams aim at motivating children to improve their English language skills and help them become familiar with the examination process for their future endeavors.

Levels

LanguageCert Young Learners ESOL offers two separate exams in two separate levels:

  • Fox (at approximately the pre-A1 level)
  • Owl (at approximately the A1 level)

Exam Format

LanguageCert Young Learners ESOL Fox & Owl include two separate Written and Spoken exams:

  • The “Written Exam” consists of Listening, Reading and Writing sections and is available in Paper-based format.
  • The “Spoken Exam” is a short conversation with an interlocutor on topics of interest to children, such as their family, hobbies or daily life situations.
